Independence Day Celebration in Waterford
July 3rd and 4th


Every year the village celebrates our Nation's birthday with two days of celebration which is organized and funded by the members of the Waterford Citizens' Association.

July 3rd

  • 4:00 p.m. Softball game at the Waterford Elementary School
  • 6:00 p.m. - Pot Luck Dinner at the Bond Street Tanyard
    Alphabet Pot Luck: Last names beginning with: A - I =Salad, J - Q= Dessert, R - Z = Main Dish. Bring enough for 8 -10 people, also bring your own drinks or bottled water and lawn chairs or blankets. Remember to bring a serving spoon for your dish!
    Live music

  • Dark - FIREWORKS! at the Water Street Meadow (See map)
    (No sparklers or other fireworks allowed)

July 4th

  • 10 - 10:45 a.m. - Parade Registration, Factory Street
  • 11 a.m. - Parade (For all decorated bicycles, moving vehicles, and marchers down Factory to the Bond Street Tanyard)   Photos »
  • 11:45 - Patriotic Songs, Remarks, Refreshments (Hot Dogs, Drinks, Watermelon), and music Photos »
  • Afternoon - Greystone Pool Pool open, (guest fee for non-pool members)
